GetLegal Accepts Webby at the 13th Annual Award Ceremony in New York City

This past June, GetLegal.com attended the 13^th Annual Webby Awards ceremony in New York City to accept the award for Best Law Site of the year in the Webby People’s Voice Awards.

Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers hosted the event alongside notable presenters such as Cameron Diaz, Martha Stewart and Alan Cumming.  Some of the top Webby recipients included Trent Reznor, Sarah Silverman and Arianna Huffington, who all accepted their Webby Awards by means of the always entertaining five-word acceptance speeches.

“After Barely Legal, Get Legal” was Chief Operating Officer Akhil Saklani’s contribution to the evening’s humor as he accepted the award on behalf of GetLegal.com.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, interactive advertising, online film and video and mobile web sites. Established in 1996, the 13th Annual Webby Awards received over 10,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 countries worldwide.
